I am for all intents and purposes and very ordinary person who has had the most magnificent luck to so far have been able to live a pretty extraordinary life with the help and support of some amazing friends and family along the way. These include chance meetings with life long heros, celebs both famous, infamous and some of a rather dubious nature. I have had horses and competed rather extensively through a variety of disciplines; I hope making rather a decent job of it.

My next passion is travel and again, I've had the most extraordinary luck to have travelled to some truly magnificent of places some of which due to cultural beliefs are no longer available to the general public. 

My travels with and without Dave have included North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia and India with a dash of the Middle East thrown in for good measure.

While international travel for now is completely impossible Dave and I have started working our way around Australia (for me a second time after our fabled family holidays of yesteryear) and also it's so interesting to see it through the eyes of someone new again.

I'm not implying that I'm a Bill Bryson wannabe but this is something I've always wanted to tick off the old bucket list and I'm thankful for this round of knee surgery and the COVID 19 isolation for finally kick starting me into action.

It's also totally ok for you to read the intro and think "this is total bunkum" and delete delete delete but I rather hope that it won't come to that.
